Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: August 29, 2025

These terms govern your use of rokibulroni.com. Accessing the site means accepting them; if any part does not work for you, stop here. They are short deliberately — the sections below cover content reuse, the limits of what is published here, third-party links, advertising and how changes are made.

1. Use of Content

Content here is published for information and personal use. Quoting a passage with attribution and a link is fine. Republishing articles in whole or in part, mirroring them, or feeding them into a product as if they were yours is not, without written permission first. The technical material — configurations, commands and scripts — is offered so you can use it on systems you are authorised to touch; testing anything else on the strength of something you read here is your liability, not mine.

2. Disclaimer

Everything is provided “as is”, with no warranty. Security writing ages badly: a default changes, a flag is deprecated, a tool is rewritten, and a procedure that was correct when published quietly stops being correct. Verify against current vendor documentation before running anything from this site in production, and treat the reasoning as the durable part rather than the exact syntax.

3. External Links

The site links to third-party tools, vendors and research. Those destinations change hands, change policies and occasionally disappear; I do not control any of them and am not responsible for their content, their tracking or their security. Some outbound links may be affiliate links, which does not affect what gets recommended or the criticisms attached to it.

4. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which sets out what is collected, what is not, and who else sees it.

5. Google AdSense

Ads on this site are served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies and device data to personalise them. That means a third party observes your visits here and, through the same network, elsewhere. Visitors in the EU and UK are shown a consent banner as the GDPR requires, and declining is a supported outcome rather than a broken one — you get non-personalised ads. A tracker-blocking extension or an ad-blocking resolver stops the whole thing at source; nothing on this site penalises you for running one.

6. Changes to These Terms

These terms can change. The effective date above is what tells you whether they have, so check it rather than relying on a notification — there is not one. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
